Hyaluronic Acid 99% (Hyaluronate Sodium / Hyaluronan) is a naturally occuring moisturizing polysaccharide. The compound is present in vast amounts in the spaces between skin cells, where it provides moisture, plumpness, firmness and suppleness to the skin. It works by acting as a cushion and lubricant in the joints and other tissues.

Hyaluronate sodium is the more stable version that is less likely to oxidize than hyaluronic acid – and it is the all-natural, water-soluble form of HA, so that means it more easily penetrates the skin.

Suggested use

As a cosmetic, mix a small amount of hyaluronate with distilled water, cover it, allow it 5 minutes to hydrate, and finally mix well and let it stand for 15 – 45 minutes.

Note that the product may be mixed with glycerin before you add water. This prevents agglomeration or clumping and creates a mixture that is smooth and soft.
