Pterostilbene is a naturally occurring stilbene compound structurally related to resveratrol. It occurs in small amounts in certain plants and foods, including blueberries and grapes.

Pterostilbene differs from resveratrol by having two methoxy groups in place of two hydroxyl groups. This structural difference affects its physicochemical properties and has led to considerable research interest in its absorption, metabolism and biological activity.
